Change It Up!

Alpha’s change collecting program has officially begun! Drop your change off in the boxes at the entrances of Alpha East and West. Mindy Leyvas and Keena Palacio will be our accountants and in charge of counting and delivering the change.

All donations will be given to Living Well Medical Clinic. Living Well’s mission is to provide alternative services and practical solutions to each woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, in order to allow her to make a rational decision without the undue pressure of her other circumstances. Their emphasis is on helping the woman as well as preserving the life of the unborn child. They also provide post-abortion counseling and support for the recovery of women facing post-abortion trauma. Finally, they provide community and church training service for the preventing of unplanned pregnancy through outreach to local churches and schools. Their objective is to see these services made available first to every woman in Orange County and then to implement a national strategy.
