Where are you, Environmentalists and Film Majors?
The Alpha Senators are starting a process of building conservation awareness across Biola’s campus. We are trying to get more recycle bins, encouraging floors to collect bottles as fund raisers, and educating students about how to recycle and conserve. We are planning on making a film to increase awareness for Biola students. Our goal is to have this completed by the end of the semester. If you are interested in helping us achieve this vision, please contact Jennifer Roman or Cheryl Massingill.
Candyland, a success once again
Category: Event Recaps
Alpha hosted a Halloween event for the neighborhood children. This is the sixth year that AS has sponsored this event. About 1,000 attended to trick-or-treat, play games, eat snacks, watch a movie, and jump in the bouncer. The residents of Alpha decorated their doors with their hall’s Candyland character themes. This gave the girls a great opportunity to bond with each other through the decorating process as well as an opportunity to reach out to the community. We are so grateful to our RAs and residents for all the work they put in to make this event a success once again!Getting Involved
If you are interested in the job of the Senator or any other position in AS, or if you feel you need more information about these options of getting involved, feel free to call me or send me a bubbs message. Thanks.

Alpha West Senator
First and foremost, my goal is to display the love of Christ to all I come in contact with. As the Senator of Alpha West, I am honored to be representing the women who will reside there during Biola's centennial year. I will strive to be a good source of communication between the students and the administration. I will also be working with the RA's and RD's in Alpha Chi to better coordinate activities and events to improve the community life. This year, I - alongside my fellow members in AS - will work to our utmost ability to serve Biola in any way possible! We will seek your opinion in order that we may strengthen Biola as community. With your opinion, we will make our decisions as to how we ought to use the associated students funds. I'm extremely excited and look forward to working for you this year! If you ever need anything, feel free to give me a call or visit me! God bless you!
