Commuters, The Bluff, and The Block apartments did it one more time. We will be having our barbeque on October 30, 2009. The purpose of this barbeque is to maintain unity and also encourage Biola students to attend Punk N’ Pie. A free meal, free talent show, and free dessert; best of both worlds!!! We hope to see each one of you there. This event is also to better serve each one of you the best we can. Your attendance is greatly appreciated… We will have FUN!!!!Calling all Commuter Cadets! Volunteers Needed =)

COMMUTERS...We are a step closer to becoming champions. We were victorious in NationBall... Let's prove Biola that Commuters have the spirit and willingness to become champs and set a new record. Hello there commuters! We, your commuter senators, have decided to make an FAQ for questions we tend to get asked regarding who we are and what exactly we do for you. We hope you are pleased with the responses given and we hope you leave feedback in the comments if you have any further questions or clarifications needed for our answers. What are "Commuter Senators"? According to the AS Directory: The AS Senators are to serve as representatives of their assigned constituents (Commuter Students in our Case). Senators primarily communicate the needs and opinions of students to the administration through the weekly Senate meeting as well as lobbying to the Administration. Senators are to keep their constituents informed of Administrative and AS news.Pay it Forward...

Hello Commuters! It is a great privilege and pleasure to be serving you as your Senator again! It is my goal to help every Commuter get CONNECTED. It is also my sincerest hope that as the commuters bond together as a stronger community we draw nearer to the Lord and exhibit our great love for Him. Estela and I are your voice, so please do not hesitate to tell us about your thoughts and ideas. We will express all of the commuters’ concerns and suggestions to administration. It is a true honor to have the opportunity to serve my fellow commuters. I am Junior majoring in Business with an emphasis on International Business. I am truly excited to share your thoughts and ideas the best I can. I strive to help every commuter feel connected and a part of Biola. I ask that you do not hesitate to approach Cynthia or me as we are both willing to serve you. It is a blessing to have this position for the 2009-2010 school year. Working along with Cynthia and Commuter Life, my goal for this school year is that it is the most memorable year full of exciting events!
