1. Proposal: HOPE HALL QUINQUENNIAL CELEBRATION PROPOSAL from Hope Senators and ResLife
2. Amount requested: $1625
3. PURPOSE OF EVENT: To celebrate the community of Hope. To celebrate the diversity, talents, and relationships. To celebrate the traditions and roots that have grown and flourished in Hope Hall. Who will be invited: All Alum of Hope Hall for the past five years, current residents and some of the key leaders who created this community and its plans.
4. Misc: Program Agenda: 11-11:45 a.m.: Open house. We will have a photo booth station for friends to reunite and commemorate their reunion. Music playing. A drink station to keep them cool. Hope Hall museum. Transforming the first floor lobby into a place to exhibit memorabilia from the past five years. For example, photos of floors, décor, memories from programs, honoring the leadership that has come from Hope (ie. President Jared Gibo and VP Tiffany Jones..senators), Videos playing from all halls, and having an art exhibit of Hope residents talents and giftings. 12 noon: Intro/welcome and Taco Bar Luncheon with sit down tables. We will have entertainment that comes from Hope. Such as bands that have hailed from the community to Xopoc the dance company performing. For dessert a Cake with our 5 year celebration logo. 1:30-3 p.m. Open house with décor and more time to reflect on what has happened in the past five years.
Cost Breakdown: Food/Catering ($300) Table Rental and service ($200) Drinks ($200) Cake ($100) Décor/Entertainment ($300) Please keep in mind most of the décor will become permanent fixtures to our first floor lobby. Such as fabrics to bring color, frames to house photos, and copies of art and photos. Open House gift: Sticker decals ($300) Photo Station: ($150) Stages for Concert ($75)
