SUBJECT: Re-allocation for AS Track Jackets
1. Proposal: I am proposing for a re-allocation of $940 or $760 from the “Calendars” line item in the Advertising Budget to the VP of MarCom Discretionary Fund to be used to subsidize the track jackets for the AS staff.
2. Amount Requested: $940 or $760
3. Problems with Status Quo: AS has traditionally in the past provided sweatshirts or jackets for the AS staff. However, I would like to use some of the extra money in the fall calendar budget line item to help pay for half of them.
4. Miscellaneous: I would like you to pass this proposal in full, yet I am open to either option. For example, if you pass the proposal for $940 then we would pay $15 each. If you pass the proposal for $760 then we would be paying $20 each. This is a way for us to represent AS visually to the student body, and bring brand recognition to AS as well. Additional jackets will be available for $40 for Service Chair Staff Positions, both volunteer and paid if they want to pay for them.
