1. Proposal: This proposal is for an event titled: The Ides of March* : Shakespeare/Branagh Movie Marathon on March 15th. As the name suggests we are providing a light breakfast and a pizza dinner, as well as snacks/drinks for throughout the marathon. There is a break for people to get their own lunch form the caf. Also, this events needs advertising. We have started bubbs messages to various folders and are creating flyers to hang around campus. We are expecting 20-25 people for this event.
2. Amount Requested: $152.98 Breakfast (Bagels, fruit, juice, coffee): $75.50 Snacks/drinks: $30 Pizza: $32.48 Advertising: $15
3. Problems with Status Quo: This event was conceived for the purpose of spreading cultural awareness and inspiring interdepartmental community. We are seeking to create an event that unifies students in multiple disciplines in an educationally edifying, and of course entertaining, experience.
4. Miscellaneous: BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH! If you don’t know what this means, you should come to our film marathon! Guild of English Scholars and Most Noble Order of John the Apostle
