MEMORANDUM FOR A.S. SENIOR VP / SENATE

SUBJECT: Biola Asian Student Association: Gloria Youth Revival
1. Proposal: We are proposing for financial assistance in order to host a revival for local churches directed towards the Asian-American youth. We host a revival each year and has grown in spirit and in number of attendance.
2. Amount Requested: $700.00 Budget breakdown attached on separate sheet.
3. Problems with Status Quo: We have decided to set this event apart from the club budget due to the fact that this is our largest event of the year. This event has become so big that it has gone beyond the limits of our club budget and finally decided to seek aid directly from AS and the Senate rather than depending on our limited finances.
4. Miscellaneous: It is a revival that is normally held on campus, but this year, every possible location on campus has already been booked since the beginning of the semester. This year we as a revival committee have decided to take it off campus in a local church as we originally did in first two years of this revival.
Basic Stats 1. We are anticipating a group estimate of at least 200 local church students present. 2. Gloria influences hundreds of local Asian American students about Biola University 3. Allow Asian American Students from Biola to reach out to there local community. 4. Quarter of the Biola Asian Student Assoc. Community came to Biola through Gloria. 5. Provides a spiritual renewal and transformation for Students.

BASA, VP of FinanceGloria: Youth Revival Gloria is a youth revival for the prospective Biola students for Biola university. Hosted during the “Step It Up” week, this event aims to reaches out to the youth generation. Disciplining and leading them into Christ—aiming to bring the Kingdom message to the heart of the youth.
