Recap of the Judaism Lecture
First and foremost, I want to thank all of you that stayed for the lecture/Q&A even though we got a late start to the event. Rabbi Uri was apologetic and thankful that you all waited patiently. As for as the event itself, I thought it was a total success! Most of the lecture was devoted to Q&A, and I must say that the students asked some pretty thought provoking questions. Rabbi Uri was very honest with his answers and admitting ignorance when he did not know something. I am sure that all who were in attendance learned something new about Judaism. It is my prayer that we can take the knowledge that we learned about Judaism and put it into practice when we encounter Jewish people in the future. I will keep you guys posted on future events. Right now it looks like we are going to have a Catholic priest give a lecture sometime in October. Stay posted for that.
