Midnight Madness is Spirit Board’s most highly anticipated event. Spirit Board works with Biola’s Athletics Department, Integrated Marketing Communications and Alumni Association to welcome prospective students, who are staying for University Day. Approximately 2,500 students flooded the gym for this Basketball-season kick-off, which showcased Biola’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams, the brand-new cheerleading squad, the brand-new Eagle, and Xopoc dance troupe. Also, students participated in a dorm competition to cover other dorm representatives’ black sweats with white flour. Three students walked away with $200 gift prizes provided by the Biola University Alumni Association after a free-throw contest. Then, at midnight, the basketball season began. Go Eagles!
